Dorner
Dorner is a Leader in the design, applications, manufacturing, and integration of conveyor systems. Companies from over 1,200 different industries worldwide turn to Dorner to achieve improved efficiency, productivity, and a positive ROI. Dorner offers the broadest range of unit handling conveyors in the world, moving everything from machined parts to raw food products.
The 2200 and 2300 Series are aluminum extruded frame belt conveyors for small part transfer and small part handling. The low-profile and modular design provide for a efficient use of space and machine integration.
The Heavy Duty 3200 Series conveyor is available i3 formats: Flat Belt End Drive, Cleated Belt End Drive, and Center Drive models:
Dorner has engineered precision belt and drive technology into the 2200 and 3200 Series conveyors. This offering is the ideal automation solution for product assembly, manufacturing, and packaging processes that require accurate alignment of time and distance. Precision timing belting conveyors combined with a variety of servo drive technology provides extremely accurate movement of product.
Whether your application is using timing belt technology for a component of a larger system or a complete solution, this offering provides the flexibility needed. Dorner offers a simple yet versatile pallet attachment system, the widest width possible with one belt, the complete integration with servo motors and drives, and package performance specifications.
The 1100 Series utilizes a unique technology that is the driving force behind miniature conveyors enabling the components to be so small. This technology is the pinch drive mechanism. The pinch drive is incorporated in both the End Drive conveyor and the Mid Drive conveyor and allows the conveyor to run with almost no belt tension. Typical belt conveyors run under high tension. Tension is needed for the drive roller to have enough traction to drive the belt. However it is this tension that causes bearings and conveyor rollers to be oversized to handle the load.
The 1100 Series conveyors have end rollers that are only 5/8” in diameter. When placed together, miniature conveyors can transfer a product as small as 7/8” in diameter. In addition, both models can be equipped with 5/16” dual end rollers. When placing these versions together a product as small as 5/8” in diameter can be transferred.
The DustPruf® conveyors are perfect for any industry that deals with dust and debris pile up, including packaging areas where corrugate dust is present. It’s also perfect for industries in need of a clean room conveying system or dust free conveyors. And DustPruf® conveyors are ideal for small parts handling as well as larger packaging applications.
The 2200 Precision Move Pallet Systems are the latest advancement in pallet traffic management. With a unique pin tracking system to guide pallets through 90° turns, and a fast belt change capability. Simple Powered 90 Degree Corner Modules use pin tracking in pallet, maintains product orientation through the turn, includes 24 VDC drive mechanism to drive the pallet around the corner. The pallets on this conveyor range from 160 mm to 480 mm, giving the customer the flexibility to select the proper size to move the product. During operation, pallets move on twin dual strand timing-belt conveyors. This design provides many benefits to end users, including added load capacity in a small platform (up to 250 lbs accumulated), quick belt change without the need to remove conveyor from system, widths (160, 240, 320, 400 and 480 mm), lengths up to 7,500 mm, 20 days or less delivery time, clean room class 100 Certification on the conveyor.
AquaGard™ is a stainless steel conveyor that offers maximum flexibility for a wide variety of products and applications while increasing throughput and reducing product loss.
This platform was rigorously designed to deliver industry-leading speeds, best-in-class transfers and ease of automation to the bakery, snack food and confectionary markets. However, AquaGard is also ideal for select applications within the fruit, vegetable, non-protein ready-to-eat, pharmaceutical, medical, and personal care markets.
The innovative AquaPruf® stainless steel sanitary conveyor helps the food industry perform at its best. This conveyor line is hygienically designed for fast effective cleaning, from occasional wipe down to frequent high pressure wash down. Sanitary designs are available for BISSC, GMA, and AMI standards. USDA red meat and poultry accepted equipment certification is also available. All materials are FDA approved including belting.
With multiple configurations available, Z-Frame conveyors can be used in almost all incline, decline, and bridging applications. Adjustable angles provide flexible product movement. Standard cleats contain small parts with ease and optional sidewall cleats for bulk handling.
Cleanroom Certified Conveyors
Dorner’s 2200 Series low profile belt conveyor platform has received the Ultraclean Products Approval Laboratory certification for use in ISO Standard 14664-1 Class 5, and Federal Standard 209 Class 100 rated cleanrooms.
This means that 2200 Series conveyors using Dorner’s urethane belt types will not contribute to the contamination of cleanrooms conforming to those standards.
Backlit Conveyors
A light fixture is installed inside the conveyor frame and emits light through a translucent belt.
These conveyors provide enhanced contrast between product and conveyor belt for visual inspection and vision system interface. Parts can be stopped directly over the lighted section or continue through uninterrupted.
Vacuum Conveyors
Dorner combines belt technology with engineered vacuum pumps to provide the optimum result for each customer.
Vacuum belt conveyors are made by perforating the belt and drawing air through grooves in the bed of a standard conveyor.
Common Drive Conveyors
Up to (4) conveyors can be coupled together and driven from a single gearmotor using a common drive shaft or coupled shafts. This creates a single lane for handling parts. Wide parts or pallets can traverse belts allowing for part access from below.
iDrive merges advanced drive and control technologies with the compact design of the 2200 Series by integrating the motor, gearbox and motor controller into a single, space saving package. Dorner has literally redefined the application footprint for small product conveyors.
The groundbreaking iDrive feature is ideal for a variety of packaging and industrial applications where space is tight or additional room is needed around the conveyor. Capable of widths as narrow as 2 inches and lengths as long as 8 feet with speeds up to 70 feet-per-minute.
